Web designers bash a success

Bright and early at 10am this morning twelve web designers congregated at a small cafe in central Huddersfield for coffee, croissants and a couple of hours of refreshing web-related chit-chat. Yes, it could only have been Huddersfield web designer's bash I've been talking about for the past couple of months.

Thankfully, rather than uncomfortable silences and competition-driven over-the-table glares the event went down really well. Photo of a reserved sign Conversation flowed and I had the pleasure of meeting some friendly new faces in the local area. Overall I'm pleased that everyone enjoyed it - many have said they'd like to get together again for another. Great!

This leads me to Huddy web design meeting #2. I imagine that one will be organised for around March next year. God knows where the venue will be, but this time it looks set to be either an early evening do, or possible a Saturday job. If you want more information (and know you're not already on my mailing list) then drop me an email and I'll stick you on there :)

For now however the next meeting is the last thing on my mind. Christmas is on its way and all I really want to do is relax and get drunk ;)

@A.Oliver: The event doesnt have a name. It was just a little get together - nothing fancy.

@Elessar: 12 was a good number, and one I were more than happy with. Overall it was a cool little do, most interesting :)

Glad it went well, who knows, it could be a northern Multipack!

Nice redesign by the way, I know I'm a little late but I've been offline for a while and have come back to see loads of new sites!

Always welcome. Just waiting til you get bored again and begin the tweaks, ha ha...

@Stu: Next northern Multipack? Nice! I like that train of thought - very optimistic! :D

The tweaking is inevitable - in fact I've already written down a few ideas, in typical fashion ;)
